| Onion Cheese Bread |

1 1/2 cups Yelton's Best Biscuit Mix |

1 egg, beaten |
|
1 tablespoon margarine |
|
1 cup (4 ounces) grated sharp cheese, divided |
|
1/2 cup chopped onions |
|
1/2 cup milk |
|
1 tablespoon margarine, melted |
|
2 teaspoons poppy or sesame seeds |
|
Heat oven to 400°. Grease 8 or 9 inch baking pan. In a small skillet, melt 1 tablespoon margarine and cook onions until transparent. Combine mix, milk, egg, onion and 1/2 cup cheese. Spoon into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over batter, drizzle with melted margarine and add poppy or sesame seeds. Bake 25 minutes. Cut in squares. Serves 6. |

Muffins: Bake above batter in greased muffin tins. Bake at 400° 12 to 15 minutes. Yields 10 to 12 muffins. |
