2 Cups Yelton's Best Biscuit Mix

2/3 cup cold water or milk

 

Heat oven to 450°. Measure unsifted mix into bowl, add liquid. Stir until moistened, about 30 seconds. Turn onto lightly floured surface. Knead gently about 15 times. Roll or pat to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with floured 21/2 cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8- 10 minutes, until golden brown. Yields 10 delicious biscuits.

 

Buttermilk Biscuits:

Use 1 cup buttermilk to 2 cups mix. Follow above directions.

 

Cheese Biscuits:

Add 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese to 2 cups Yelton's Best Biscuit Mix. Follow above directions.

 

Drop Biscuits:

Increase liquid by 1/4 cup and drop by spoon, onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 450° for 10- 12 minutes.
