| Aunt Suggie's Ranger Cookies |

1 cup shortening 2 eggs |
|
1 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla |
|
1 cup white sugar |
|
|
|
Sift together and add to first mixture: |

2 cups Yelton’s Best All Purpose Flour |
|
1 teaspoon baking soda |
|
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
|
1/2 teaspoon salt |
|
|
|
Add: |
|
2 cups quick cook rolled oats |
|
2 cups rice krispies |
|
1 cup or 1 can angel flake coconut |
|
|
|
Mix all together and drop on cookie sheet with a teaspoon. Flatten with a damp cloth on the bottom of a glass. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. |
